The Chalet Kirsanna is ideal for a maximum of 6 people. It is located in the peaceful Fieschertal (1100 m altitude) at the end of the Alpine Road. That's why there is only local traffic here. The chalet is on flat terrain and your car can be parked right in front of the door. Your apartment is approximately 128 m2 and is located on the first and second floor. It has a spacious living room with an open kitchen, 3 bedrooms with two beds each, a bathroom with a shower and toilet and a bathroom with a bath and toilet. It offers the necessary comforts such as cable TV, DVD player, internet connection (Wi-Fi), washing machine and a sunny balcony with a beautiful view.

SUGGESTIONS FROM THE CHALET OWNER Apartment CH-3984-19 can be very well combined with apartment CH-3984-18 for groups up to ten persons. Upon request, the Caretaker can arrange for the delivery of fresh bread for breakfast and your grocery shopping on arrival. The Caretaker can also provide you with (rental) bed-clothes. (S.Fr. 20 p.p.) Winter guests are advised to use winter-tyres. (According to German and Swiss laws, it is mandatory to have winter-tyres in case of insurance claims). THE AREA Fieschertal, in the sunny province of “Wallis”, is located in the middle of the well-known Aletsch - Area which is on the UNESCO World Heritage list (since 2001). This area is known for its beauty and impressive landscape, the special geology, the 107 glaciers and a number of rare animals and plants as well as the spruce-firs and pine-trees of the Aletsch-forest. At 3454 metres altitude begins the Aletsch glacier; Europe’s largest glacier 86km2). There are a number of ski-routes that can be explored together with a guide. You can visit the exhibition in the Pro Natura-Center in Riederalp/Mörel and from there you can make arrangements to take part in an excursion. SKIING The large Aletsch-ski area guarantees very good snow-conditions. It encloses the ski-areas of Fiescheralp- Riederalp and Bettmeralp. There are more than 100 km ski-slopes for beginners and experienced skiers. From the top, one pauses to admire the beautiful Panorama with the well-known Matterhorn top in the background. From “Kühboden” a cable car takes you to the top of Eggishorn (2889 metres) The Eggishorn has only black ski slopes. CROSS COUNTRY AND SLEIGHING In Fiesch and in Fieschertal there are 2 trails for cross country. One trail of 8 km length down in the valley and one of 2 km length up in the ski area. The nearby Gomsertal offers a total of 40 km trails. They connect 12 picturesque villages with each other. Every village is accessible by the legendary Matterhorn-Gotthard train. Fieschertal is an ideal starting-point. PARA-GLIDING The area is very popular among para-gliders. On a short distance from the holiday-house is the “Flying Center” where you can make arrangements for lessons and flying. From the holiday-house you can watch the para-gliders land silently in your back yard. MOUNTAINBIKING & HIKING For the mountain bikers, there are 26 km natural mountain trials available. OTHER ATTRACTIONS Fieschertal (1100 metres altitude) is located in a wide valley with mountains all around. Chalet “Kirsanna” has also a good connection with train and bus. The bus stop is 3 minutes’ walk from the apartment. From here you can choose another walking destination every day; there are almost 750 km walking-paths. Close to Fieschertal is the beautiful medieval village of Ernen and a little further is the village Binn. There you can borrow a hammer and chisel to find special stones and crystals. There are plenty of opportunities for mountain climbing and hiking. In the neighbourhood you will find an indoor swimming pool, wellness and sauna, several outdoor swimming-pools, a golf course, mini-golf, a small zoo, a fitness-centre with tennis-hall, badminton, squash, table-tennis and a climbing-wall. Near the chalet is a small ski-slope and a play-garden for the infants. In the village and nearby are all the necessary shops, restaurants, bars and a dancing. A summer or a winter holiday in Fieschertal is always a real experience!
