Generel:
Drains did smell like the other reviews said. Its not unbearable but it is intense. If you're sensitive to that it's something to consider. The location is amazing. The Martyrs street is worth the location alone. So many restaurants, shops, bakeries, desserts etc. The rest of the Airbnb was clean and acceptable. Not enough toilet paper was provided though. We had to buy our own and we were only there for 3 days. Overall we would book again and cross our fingers the drain situation was fixed!

the apartment is well-situated, and stocked with a huge number of lovely, fluffy towels. the bed linens are good quality, and the apartment is well-heated. the rooms are generous. that said, this apartment is much less than advertised. we arrived to a stench from the shower drains in both bathrooms and the bathrooms are only moderately clean. the non ensuite bathroom: the toilet runs and requires attention, the adjacent sink doesn't drain properly, the shower door doesn't close, so there's water on the floor. there was an insufficient amount of toilet paper, and no facial tissues. there is no evidence of a carbon dioxide or fire alarm, despite the listing of such, and the listing states two bedrooms (correct) and has picutres of "three". the couch is in poor condition and uncomfortable to sleep on, the part that lifts up to store the linens is broken and the arms have lost their stuffing. there is no air conditioning, despite claims to the opposite. the kitchen utensils are insufficient for even a simple meal (no vegetable peeler, no ladle, no grater, no cooking spoons), one of the kitchen cabinet doors doesn't close, there are no hooks in the bathrooms to hang towels, no kitchen towels, no ice cube tray. the bedroom doors don't close properly and this makes the apartment is very noisy, especially in the morning. when we called for a second set of keys (we were three people with separate schedules) we were told we'd be called back, which didn't happen. we did call the following day for the keys, kitchen towels and the smell, and got one extra set of keys, one kitchen towel, and some equally foul-smelling treatment for the drains which was 100% ineffective. most of these complaints have been made in previous comments so it appears that the issues were not taken seriously by any of the three companies that handle this listing, VRBO, Belvilla and Checkmyguest. it was also complicated to have to deal with three companies, rather than one and i will try to avoid all three companies in the future.

We have enjoyed our vacation in Paris. I would suggest adding some hooks for hanging towels & some type of hooks for hanging jackets. There also needs to be some type of organizer/shelf in the shower to put soap & shampoos on. Location was easy to find. Very Small spiral staircase to climb to get to the apartment. We knew there was no air condition and that was no problem, visited in November. Other than that, the apartment was as described.

Great location, plenty of room, clean bedding and comfortable beds. Access was a bit concerning - very narrow and unsafe feeling staircase, no smoke alarms. Soundproofing could be improved. Bathrooms smelled of raw sewage. Could have been cleaner. Not sure all the 10/10 reviews are genuine - the lower ones are more accurate. Despite all of this, we had a fantastic break in Paris.

Started off with only one set of keys which needed to be secured from a lock box three blocks away. The elevator was broken so we had to lug heavy luggage up a very filthy and dark stairway. The bedrooms were adequate as seen in the pictures online. The main area was NOTHING like pictured. It didn’t have a rug, didn’t have the same chairs or wall decorations. It was dirty… especially the sofa which had many gross stains on it. The remote didn’t work properly on the main room. The kitchen faucet was loose and laying down in the side. Minimal dishes/pots/utilsils. Couldn’t figure out the stovetop. So basically the main area was not a place anyone wanted to be. We were stuck in our bedrooms. They promoted A/C which ended up being two cheap rotating fans which didn’t function properly. No extra towels. The stairwell was filthy with exposed wires and we even saw mice by the garbage on the bottom floor near the stairs. Disgusting. We deserve a partial refund as it was the low point of our European vacation. I called VRBO and they sent a form for me to file a complaint, which I did with pics I took to prove what I said. I got an auto response back that they aren’t monitoring my emails and to call their 800 number. So frustrating since I already called and spoke to their rep. So basically I’m being ignored. Don’t stay at this place. It was bad

Malgré plusieurs courriels et téléphones disant qu’il n’y avait pas de chauffage personne n’a pris la peine de corriger la situation. Il faisait très froid. Il fallait garder nos manteaux à l’intérieur… De plus l’odeur des toilettes étaient épouvantables et ça se sentait partout dans l’appartement. Il y avait de la moisissure dans le bas des douches. Le robinet de la cuisine n’était pas fixé et l’entrèe de service pour accéder à l’appartement était dégueulasse. .

The accommodation is situated in a bustling area, hence there's noise, You have to inquire the host about all matters concerning the homestay, instead of the host taking the initiative to inform, This can make the guests feel quite passive, making the overall experience just okay, Particularly, the procedures for check-in and check-out were not communicated, the keys and the house are located separately, there's a shortage of tissues, and the TV is not functional among other issues, Moreover, the property is located on the second floor with a narrow staircase which can be inconvenient if you have large luggage, All these issues were not properly communicated prior to check-in, However, we still stayed for four nights, If you are not bothered by the issues mentioned above, then it's a decent place to stay,
