Accommodation in a timber-framed house: apartments on a park-like site with a wine cellar These apartments are in a timber-framed house in the village republic of Rüterberg near Dömitz. Wireless Internet access is available. In fine weather the generous terrace, with a giant awning, invites you to enjoy breakfast outdoors. The 2000m² site has dreamy spots with table and chairs, benches or sun loungers so you can sit and relax. There are also a gazebo and a wine cellar, where you can sample wines from the Rheingau. You can watch fish from the bridge over the little pond. There is a vegetable garden with many kinds of vegetables and herbs, which you can help yourself to on request. Would you like to really relax and switch off? This holiday property in Rüterberg near Dömitz may be just the right place for you. The park-like site and the lovely river landscape provide space to get away from it all. You can go on adventure tours with the in-house sea kayaks (with life jackets and paddles), folding boats or bicycles. We can also offer guided tours. There are also other bicycle hire services. Rüterberg is situated amidst the Elbtalaue cultural landscape nestled between Mecklenburg, Niedersachsen, Brandenburg and Sachsen-Anhalt. You can experience history here. You can go on day trips to Schwerin, Ludwigslust, Hamburg, Hitzacker, Lüneburg and other interesting towns. The Hamburg-Wittenburg Alpincenter is only an hour away. The Elbe cycling and hiking trail invites you to go exploring. The owners look forward to welcoming you and will do their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We also offer the opportunity to take part in painting classes (oil and acrylic), to work with Ytong, felt or clay. The owners also run a local café. A bakery and a butcher visit the village several times a week. The owners can prepare breakfast and dinner on request (especially for short stays). It is planned to open a little on-site store where you can purchase basic groceries, honey and jam. There is a wine cellar on site including wines from the Rheingau, which guests can purchase. The nearest grocery shops are in Dömitz (Aldi, Norma, Penny, Konsum) and in Dannenberg (Famila, Edeka, Lidl, Aldi, Rewe etc.). The distances to sights, sports and cultural facilities are the same as for apartment 2.
