The "Alte Kaiserhof" is located in the climatic health resort of Bernau (Dorf district).
Our house is located on the south side of the wide Black Forest high valley at the southern foot of the Herzogenhorn at 920 metres above sea level. The Bernau high valley is said to be one of the most beautiful high valleys in the "Southern Black Forest" nature park: Pure nature experience. The hiking trails start right on the doorstep, ski lifts and cross-country ski trails can be reached within a short time.

The "Alte Kaiserhof" is a former farmhouse. The building fabric is partly up to 250 years old in the typical Black Forest style in timber frame construction with old beams and door sills: The entire western half of the house is rented out as a holiday home over 3 floors with its own entrance. The house is particularly suitable for large families or 2 to 3 families of friends who want to spend their holidays together and do not want to do without individual, personal freedom.

The holiday home is divided as follows: Ground floor: 1 fully equipped eat-in kitchen (main kitchen, 27 m²) with corner bench and large table for up to 14 people, ceramic hob (4 hotplates), oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, kettle and everything you need for up to 14 people (crockery, glasses, cutlery....) with access to the south-facing balcony 1 bedroom (16 sqm) with bathroom (shower/washbasin/WC) 1st floor: 1 bedroom (16 sqm) with double bed and armchair bed; washbasin and access to the balcony 1 TV room with satellite TV (20 sqm), white designer leather couch 1 kitchenette (modern fitted kitchen) with ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, fridge with freezer compartment. This kitchenette can be booked on request for an additional charge 1 bathroom with washbasin/bathtub/WC 1 bathroom with shower/washbasin/WC (height approx. 1.80, shower approx. height 1.75), washing machine, tumble dryer Top floor: 1 reading room (12 sqm) with 2 sofa beds and table + wall of books 1 bedroom (16 sqm) with double bed (2 single beds) and washbasin, access to balcony 1 bedroom (16 sqm) with double bed and shower; 1 room (7 sqm) with futon bed (1.40 x 2.00) 1 small room (6 sqm) with 2 single beds (2 x 0.80 x 2.00) 1 bathroom with bathtub/2 washbasins/WC

The house is cosy and lovingly furnished in typical Black Forest style, partly with hand-painted furniture.

It is situated on a 1000 square metre natural plot with a terrace for our guests (with a simple barbecue area), 1 south-facing balcony and 1 west-facing balcony on the 1st floor and in the attic. There are 5 car parking spaces available for our guests on the natural property. The property has WLAN connection (hotspots)
