Cosy Swedish cottage (holiday home 16b) in a good location, just a few minutes' walk from the beach, close to the Hanseatic town of Wismar.

The holiday home Schwedenhaus Zierow, newly built in Swedish country house style in 2017, consists of two residential units (house 16a and house 16b) and offers you soothing cosiness for a relaxing and restful holiday with your family or friends.

House 16b (semi-detached house) has a living space of approx. 52 square metres and is newly and modernly furnished. The original Swedish red (faluröd) wooden façade, the white doors and lattice windows and the lovingly landscaped outdoor area make the holiday home friendly and inviting. On the ground floor there is an open-plan living and dining room with kitchen, hallway and bathroom, upstairs there is a bedroom with a double bed and another bedroom with two single beds. There is a flat-screen TV with satellite reception in the living area. The bathroom has a large floor-to-ceiling/barrier-free shower.
The terraces (equipped with garden furniture) are covered with WPC boards, the majority of the fenced property is laid with pebbles and discreetly planted. Thanks to the south-west orientation of the house, you can enjoy the sun on the terrace well into the evening hours.
There is also a small garden shed (lockable), a garden barbecue and a private car park.

You will find the Schwedenhaus Zierow in the holiday home settlement "Ostseeferiendorf Zierow", in a scenic and quiet location. The Baltic Sea coast of the Bay of Wismar and the beach, which is supervised by lifeguards in the summer season, are only 500 metres away. Here you have many opportunities to organise your leisure time with games, fun or sport. A children's playground, mini golf and a small café are located directly on the beach.

From the coast in Zierow you have a good view of the island of Poel, which you can reach quickly by boat (6 km) or by land (17 km). On the northern part of the island, the open sea and marvellous beaches await you, e.g. at Schwarzer Busch, Timmendorfer Strand or Gollwitz.
Zierow is located at the gates of the UNESCO World Heritage and Hanseatic city of Wismar (8 km) and between the Hanseatic cities of Lübeck (50 km to the west) and Rostock (65 km to the east). The state capital Schwerin with its picturesque park and lake landscape and the beautiful Schwerin Castle is only 35 km away from Zierow.
The Baltic seaside resorts of Boltenhagen (17 km), Rerik (35 km), Kühlungsborn/Heiligendamm (45 km) and Warnemünde (65 km) are also within easy reach and are perfect for a stroll or a day trip.
You will find plenty of shopping facilities in the Gägelow shopping centre (2.5 km) or in Wismar-Wendorf (3 km). The nearby village shop in Zierow is available for small purchases (e.g. fresh bread rolls).
Zierow has several small restaurants where you can enjoy good, reasonably priced meals. You can find more restaurants in the surrounding villages or in the Hanseatic town of Wismar.
The nearest marinas are in Wendorf (3 km), Hohen Wieschendorf (3 km), Wismar (7 km) and on the Weiße Wiek / Boltenhagen (15 km).
