The Rose Garden at the side of the property is free for all to use as is the large lower garden at the back of the property. It features an incredible living space formed from one of the original reception rooms of the villa. This space has enormous floor to ceiling windows in a bay. Muntham is in the Wellswood area of Torquay. This is a prosperous leafy area of the town which has at its heart Ilsham Road where there are a whole host of amenities such as a pub, post office, church, pharmacy, florist, delicatessen and numerous other independent businesses. This area is known by locals as Wellswood Village. Close by (and only a ten minute walk from Muntham are the World famous Kent's Cavern - prehistoric caves. Muntham is a beautiful Victorian house that has survived the years in tact and with most of its stunning original features. It is a tranquil and restful place and makes an ideal base from which to explore The English Riviera and other parts of south Devon and the south west of England.
