The Foundation Holidays in Historic Buildings combines monument preservation with tourism and is committed throughout Switzerland to preserving historic buildings. The residential house “Buochholz” from 1348/49 is the second-oldest dated wooden house in the canton of Uri. It is located amidst green meadows with views of Lake Lucerne, the Rigi Hochflue and Brunnen, offering great tranquility.
