This house is a completely renovated, approx. 300-year-old stone house in the historic - yet quiet - centre of Vizinada, Istria. It offers approx. 290 m² and three floors of space for two (friendly) families with children or for groups of eight to a maximum of twelve people.
The ground floor has direct access to the partially covered terrace with a large table and cosy wicker chairs. The garden and swimming pool (salt water, with allergy-friendly electrolysis technology) are available to all our holiday guests. Sun loungers, seating furniture and parasols are of course available. A barbecue is also available.
There are four bedrooms of different sizes, each with a double bed (1.80m x 2.00m or 1.60m x 2.00m) as well as two extra beds and two sofa beds. The rooms are very individually designed with a lot of ambience and even have a balcony or loggia on the first floor. There is a large bathroom on the first floor (shower, bath, WC) and a shower/WC on the top floor (with a fantastic view over the countryside). Bed linen and towels are provided by the landlord. Please bring your own bath towels. If required, a travelling cot and folding mattresses for small children can also be provided. On the ground floor is the spacious 70 m² living and dining area (brick floor, original stone walls, lots of wood) as well as the kitchen and an artistically designed WC. The central fireplace provides a cosy atmosphere, e.g. on cooler days. As the hosts themselves like to spend their holidays in the house, they have paid particular attention to a cosy and familiar interior. That's why almost everything has been thought of, both in the kitchen and in everyday life. You can literally feel "at home" here.
Beach and sights: Getting to the sea is very easy. It's about 12 kilometres in the direction of Porec directly to Materada, a suburb of Porec. There you will find a beach, water slide and restaurants. Other beaches are only a few kilometres away. These are all well-maintained and mostly equipped with showers and changing rooms. Our favourite beach is on the Lanterna peninsula, just north of the village of Tar, where there are also opportunities for horse riding, quad biking and go-karting. The Hotel Diamant in the south of Porec, very close to Plava Laguna, offers a fitness centre, massage, sauna and wellness. If you want to enjoy the healing waters of Istarske Toplice, you have to drive along the Mirna towards Buje. There is also an impressive climbing rock there, not just for watching. An interesting jump site has been created for paragliders near Buje. You can go skydiving near Vrsar, approx. 30 kilometres from Vizinada, and caving in the Baredine cave, approx. 8 kilometres from Vizinada. The leisure paradise "Aquapark Istralandia" near Brtonigla (towards Novigrad) with its huge selection of water slides is certainly a highlight of your holiday.
There are plenty of parking spaces in front of and next to the house.
