Location:
Located in a wonderful secluded area, high up at the hiking region Wildkogel, at the end of the Mühlbach valley. The cottage is reachable by car via a forest road until about 1 km below the hut. The last part of the road is not easy to drive, therefore just experienced persons with off-road vehicles (ground clearance) should drive there. At arrival/departure the owner would assist you.

Distances:
The town Bramberg with shops in 14km, farmed hut, where you can buy milk, cheese, butter, beverages or refresh yourself with a snack, in 4km. The area around the cottage is perfect for hikers! There are numerous marked hiking trails and possibilities for bicycle tours! Experienced mountain climbers could climb up the 2,362m high "Großer Rettenstein". Here also Capricorns can be seen!

Equippment:
The cottage was extended with loving care and has on the ground floor: snuggery with seating corner, kitchenette with sink, gas cooker (2 flames), four-bed room with double bunk bed, shower/toilet. Cot on request. Staircase from the snuggery to the gallery, where you find 2 double mattresses, entry to the mansard (max. height 130cm) with 3 roosts for sleeping. Light via photovoltaic system, charging of batteries possible.Gas heating. At the well in front of the cottage you can cool your groceries. Please do not smoke inside the cottage.

Additional charges on-site:
Lump sum at least ? 100,-/week, if more than 4 people ? 3,-/person/night, final cleaning ? 50,-, local tourism tax currently ? 1,60/person/night, mobility tax as of the 1st of May 2025 ? 0,50/person older than 15/night. Pet ? 40,-/week. Bed linen can be rented for ? 7,-/set and towels for ? 3,-/set. Deposit ? 150,-.
